Our Story

Our story starts with Bill and his wife Nancy, more than four decades ago when W.F. Welliver was founded as a business. The original building was a 40' x 40' block building, built by Bill and Nancy, with the help of their son Mark who was only 9 years old at the time.

In 1976, a 40' x 60' addition was added to the business to include a small showroom and parts department. Between 1972 and 2003, W.F. Welliver carried various lines of agricultural and lawn and garden equipment and in 2002, a new building measuring 90' x 236' was constructed. The business moved into the new building in early 2003 and incorporated as W.F. Welliver & Son, Inc.

An Industry Leader

Today, W.F. Welliver & Son, Inc. stands as the area's largest zero-turn mower dealership, serving all of Columbia County, PA and beyond. We offer 6 different brands of zero-turns and we also carry 3 different lines of lawn and garden handheld equipment. Our showroom is set up with over 25 quality makes and models of mowers from some of the industry's leading brand names and our inventory of farming equipment in Columbia County, PA has grown substantially to accommodate any and all needs our customers may have.

In the agricultural lines, we carry a full lineup of tractors starting with a 23 hp compact tractor and ending with a 310 hp farm tractor. We carry a full lineup of round balers, rakes, tedders, and bale wrappers. We also carry a full line of rotary cutters, rear blades, and stone rakes.
